Can clay bar wipe away the scratches on the car?

Clay bar can only remove shallow scratches on the oxide layer, deep scratches cannot be removed.

More than half of the scratches on the car body come from the oxide layer. When the oxide layer is removed, the scratches naturally disappear. However, these scratches are usually sun marks and other shallow scratches. Deep scratches cannot be removed by removing sludge because they have already penetrated into the car paint and are not on the oxide layer.
